Bimota db1.EVO

The Bimota db1 as if built today — thus an “EVO” (evolution) with new chromoly chassis, 998R chassis geometry, 998R wheels, DS1100 engine and carbonfiber coachwork. This is the rough conceptual image of what is to be built. The challenge has been locating OEM Bimota db1 bodywork to pull master molds from to make the carbonfiber bodywork — and we recently have some who has agreed to supply — Thanks Steve!

This project is for myself. I’ve wanted one of these for almost 7 years as imagineered — and since 1987 when I first had an extended experience with one. They truly were the Faberge Egg of motorcycles at the time.
